Saturday New Product Launch!

Tomorrow I get to attend another fabulous Close To My Heart Event.

I can't wait!  This cute basket is the little gifty I am taking to those in my group and a few special friends.
I made this using our Kaleidoscope paper collection, because it looks so Easter!  Art Philosophy for the flower, leaves and tag plus a little paper from Georgie collection.  Don't you just love how you can mix and match our papers!

Looking forward to seeing what is new in the Expression's 2 supplement catalog.  It won't be available to the public until may 1st.  So that means other things will be going away.  I will be posting a list of those next week, so come by and check it out.
 

March Birthdays

This month there are several special birthdays.
This card is for Jeanette Lynton, Founder and CEO of Close To My Heart!
Although I have known Jeanette for over 25 years, she doesn't really know how much she has influenced my families life.  She doesn't know about all the Christmas's that I was able to buy gifts for my family because she started this wonderful company. I was able to buy cars, add a room to my home and do little everyday things because she supported the idea of women/men having business opportunities and making their own schedules.  I owe her a lot and I thank her today and everyday for being such a blessing in my life!

My Little Sister's Birthday Card

February is my sister's birthday month.  This card was made after seeing a great layout done by one of the Australian consultant named just MAZ.

It is a tri-fold card.

Sniffles got you down?

So many people have the sniffles right now.

Thought I would share this fun little item with you.

Who wouldn't this cheer up?

My covered pocket kleenex holder is made from Canary Cardstock and covered in Penelope pattern paper.   

I designed the base pattern in Design Space and I will send the pattern to you if you place a $15 order on my CTMH website.

C1641 Springtime Wishes Flowers are stamped in Black on Pixie and Canary Cardstock and cut out using the matching Thin Cuts Z3201.  Leaves were stamped in Black on pattern paper from the Penelope collection also cut with the Thin Cuts.

CTMH Simply Inspired Blog Hop

We are back! Seems like forever since we had a blog hop!  This one features product from the new Close To My Heart Seasonal Expressions 1.

This seasonal idea/product booklet is good from Jan - April.

For my entry I decided to show you a totally new product "Thin Cuts"!

You know we have fabulous Cricut cartridges but now we have added some 

metal dies that you can use in your favorite cutter. You can see how it cut out the bunny leaving a nice border around the edge.

This set is called Spring Critters and was used on the bunny on this card.

Aren't they just darling?  And that paper that goes so well with my Easter theme is called Penelope!

Notice anything different about the pack of paper?  Well, our paper packets now come with 5 double sided patterned sheets 2 of each and then 2 sheets of PML sheets that you can cut out and use on layouts or cards!  No cardstock in the paper packet now just lots of yummy pattern paper.

The card is a circle side step card.  Mine started with a 5 1/2" circle and although it is hard to see there are steps on the right side of card.  I used the pattern found here and made it 5 1/2" instead of
6 1/2".  I will be posting how I cut mine in a few days so check back.

Charlotte Purse

Several days ago I saw the cutest little paper purse with a small gift box inside.

I decided to give one a try with our new Charlotte Papers.

 

Charlotte Papers come with 12 sheets shown below.

 

Here is the inside of the purse.

Lots of fun folds starting with a 12x12 sheet of Charlotte paper.

I used CTMH Cricut cartridges to cut out the flower on the box, and the decorated front of the box.
