Simple card using Art Philosophy and Mickey and Friends.
Love the Magical papers!

Finished up my gifties for my 1st downline and the directors in my 1-4th downline.
Getting ready to work on gifts for the rest of my downline attending our Convention in Florida.
Our last year at a Disney property for a few years.

Double Z card

This is one of the fun cards we will be doing on June 4th.  The card is called a Double Z card and I found a youtube video for it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1e2unQmU2o
She did a great job with the directions so I won't post any.  Her name is Jan B.

It is a standard size card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2".  The base of the card is cut at 4" but that little scallop circle makes up the extra 1/4", so don't let the directions fool you.  You don't make it 4 1/4 high.

My card is made with Pixie, White and Pear cardstock.  The pattern paper is from our new Calypso papers.

I used CTMH Cricut Cartridges for this project, Art Philosophy, Artiste and  Artistry.
The only stamp I used was from the Tickled Pink stamp, which has a set of Thin Cuts to go with it.

Hawaiian Hibiscus

This card was made using a B&T paper from Magical, one of CTMH new paper packets.

As you can see this is a very versatile paper packet.  I will be posting a cute project made from it soon so check back.  It's a convention gift so I can post yet!








The focus stamp is from the B1527 Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set.



Also used were D1618 Build A Cake

How to:

https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/40574702 if you have an Explore. Place the side you want to appear on the outside down on the mat for cutting.

Cut the following mats.
This will adhere in the hole you created on the front.

Accordion fold the sections.  Adhere the pattern paper to the sections.  Place adhesive on the far right piece on the back and adhere to the inside of the right side of the folded paper.

The far right one you will put adhesive on and adhere to the inside of the card lining it up about 1/8th" from the right side of the card centered. It has the saying on it in this photo.

With that adhered inside the card, close it . 
Place adhesive on the part shown in photo below.

This is where the focus stamps go. By putting the leaves outside of the hole, it will make the card easier to open.

Saturday New Product Launch!

Tomorrow I get to attend another fabulous Close To My Heart Event.

I can't wait!  This cute basket is the little gifty I am taking to those in my group and a few special friends.
I made this using our Kaleidoscope paper collection, because it looks so Easter!  Art Philosophy for the flower, leaves and tag plus a little paper from Georgie collection.  Don't you just love how you can mix and match our papers!

All packed up in our large organizer box with dividers taken out! 

Looking forward to seeing what is new in the Expression's 2 supplement catalog.  It won't be available to the public until may 1st.  So that means other things will be going away.  I will be posting a list of those next week, so come by and check it out.
 

March Birthdays

This month there are several special birthdays.
This card is for Jeanette Lynton, Founder and CEO of Close To My Heart!
Although I have known Jeanette for over 25 years, she doesn't really know how much she has influenced my families life.  She doesn't know about all the Christmas's that I was able to buy gifts for my family because she started this wonderful company. I was able to buy cars, add a room to my home and do little everyday things because she supported the idea of women/men having business opportunities and making their own schedules.  I owe her a lot and I thank her today and everyday for being such a blessing in my life!

My Little Sister's Birthday Card

February is my sister's birthday month.  This card was made after seeing a great layout done by one of the Australian consultant named just MAZ.
