Convention Goodies

I wanted to make a little something for friends and thought how about some post it notes ( 1 1/2 x 2" size) that they can use to mark their favorite pages in the new Fall/Winter Catalog.  So got out a few paper packets and plugged in the Cricut and made these in no time flat.  Of course I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge.

Base of purse cardstock is Shape 8 on page 47 cut at 4"
Scallop cardstock is Oval 4 on page 52 cut at 2 3/4"
Oval B&T paper is Oval 3 on page 42 cut at 2 1/4"
Flower layers are Flower 6 on page 29 cut at 1" and 1 1/4"

Top middle purse uses Sonoma papers, which will retire at the end of July
Left front purse uses Pemberley papers
Right front purse uses Stella papers
Various large brads 
I used a piece of ribbon cut at 11" used a 1/8 circle punch on the fold for ribbon.
Post It notes 1 1/2 x 2" size about 25 count.

Convention Giftie

This is the cover of a display album my first downline and the directors in my first through third downline will be receiving as a gift this year at Convention 2012 in Dallas TX.  Inside it has a calendar for 2013 and a place for a photo each month.  Maybe it will be workshop as it makes a great gift. 

July Layout

This will be the layout we will be making in July.. Calendar doesn't seem to be working so here are the details.
Date:  July 21st 10 am - 12:30 pm
Workshop fee is $4 with a $30 order or $7.50 without an order

After class we will be having a introductory Cricut class.  Please bring your cricut along with our Art Philosophy Cartridge.  We will go over basic buttons and settings.  If you don't have a cricut yet or our AP cartridge come anyway. If you aren't attending the workshop and would like to attend anyway, please come by 12:30 pm and let me know so we can wait for you if we finish early.

Cupcakes and Kleenex

June 16th Workshop
10 am to 2 pm

Choose either the pink wrapper or Chocolate wrapper cupcake.
Kleenex box cover can be any CTMH papers you might already have.

We will be making one of these fun cupcakes which is perfect for decorations or gift card giving.  I will supply a pin clip to hold a gift card too.  Once you decide on which cupcake you want to make I will cut the papers and have them ready for you to score the wrappers and roll the roses.  Can be done before class so you will just need to assemble at the workshop. 

I am having you supply the CTMH papers of your choice for the kleenex box, along with the kleenex box for that part of the class.  I will be cutting the tops for you while you finish assemble on the box or cupcake.  If you don't have CTMH paper you want to use, let me know and you can purchase the individual sheets from me.

Class fee for both projects is $10.00

Pemberley Kleenex Cover

Spring is here and I was still using my Christmas kleenex box cover.  Got out my pretty Pemberley papers and booted up Cricut craftroom and made this fun spring cover.  Used my Art Philosophy CTMH cartridge and it was done in no time at all.  I think I might need to make a few others since all the papers in the Spring/Summer catalog are so nice.  Maybe a superhero one for my hubby Gary's office, not sure what he would think of that!

For this sample I used the Florentine Papers and added a little Art Philosophy scalloped edge.

Friendship Bouquet card using our Colonial White Die-Cut cards and Stella papers.  The border was made by stamping the leaf image over the entire border piece and sponging it Olive.

This is our great stamp of the month for May.  We have showers here today and I am hoping to have more flowers in the garden soon.  Will be posting some cards this week using this great set.

Cricut Cupcake

A couple of weekends ago I went to a fun day at CTMH Consultant Cindy Baker's house.  We get together every few months as a group and share ideas.  This fun idea was shared by Denise Anderson Turley who got it from Kelly English-Triggs.  It is made with CTMH's Art Philosophy cartridge, papers, ribbons and will be a project at one of my workshops.  Will be posting the date soon, so check back!
